The general terms and conditions governing your use of Swedbet — account, deposits and withdrawals, bonuses, responsible gaming, complaints and liability.

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the gaming services available at swedbet.com (the “Platform”), operated by 3-102-963848 SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). The Company is incorporated in Costa Rica with registration number 3-102-963848 with its registered address at Provincia 01 San Jose, Canton 09 Santa Ana, Uruca, Condominio Santa Ana Lofts, Casa Ciento Dos, Costa Rica. The Platform is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission under the Tobique Gaming Act 2023, and operates under the License No. 0000183.

1.2 By registering an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms take effect from the moment you complete registration.

1.3 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, you will be notified in advance and required to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Platform. Where you do not accept a material change, you may contact us at support@swedbet.com to arrange withdrawal of any remaining balance and closure of your account.

1.4 These Terms are published in English. Where a translated version is made available, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency or dispute.

1.5 Games available on the Platform are subject to individual game rules, which are accessible within each game. You must play all games in accordance with the applicable rules. These Terms apply in addition to any game-specific rules.

1.6 IB Yellow Blue Services Limited registered under the laws of Cyprus, acts as a Payment Agent on behalf of the licensed operator of this website.

2. Your Obligations

2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account or use the Platform. Any account found to have been opened or used by a person under 18 will be closed immediately, all winnings will be forfeited, and the matter escalated in accordance with our underage gambling procedures.

2.2 You may only use the Platform for personal, non-commercial, and recreational purposes. Use of the Platform on behalf of another person or entity, or for commercial purposes, is prohibited without our prior written agreement.

2.3 You must not use the Platform if you are a problem gambler, have self-excluded from the Platform or any other gambling service, or are registered in any self-exclusion scheme or database of players with gambling-related issues.

2.4 Gambling may be restricted or prohibited in the jurisdiction in which you are located. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your use of the Platform complies with all laws applicable to you. We expressly prohibit access to and use of the Platform by persons located in or resident in the following jurisdictions: Afghanistan, Canadian Province of New Brunswick, China, Cuba, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States of America, Yemen, and Venezuela, as well as any other jurisdiction designated as restricted by the Tobique Gaming Commission from time to time. The Platform is not intended for persons resident in Sweden. The Company does not accept players with a Swedish residential address. The Platform is not marketed toward persons located in Sweden or other restricted jurisdictions.

2.5 Successful registration and use of the Platform does not constitute confirmation that gambling is permitted in your jurisdiction. You remain solely responsible for assessing and complying with applicable local laws. The Company may use geo-location tools, IP analysis, payment verification, and identity verification measures to determine player eligibility and enforce jurisdictional restrictions. The Company may require proof of residency from any player at any time and may restrict or suspend access to the Platform pending satisfactory verification of residency.

2.6 All information you provide to us must be accurate, complete, and current. You must notify us promptly of any changes to your details or update them directly through your account.

2.7 You are solely responsible for any taxes, levies, or duties applicable to your winnings under the laws of your jurisdiction. The Company does not withhold or remit tax on your behalf.

2.8 You acknowledge that gambling involves a risk of financial loss and that you participate entirely at your own discretion and risk. The Company accepts no liability for losses incurred through gameplay, and such losses are not subject to reimbursement or compensation.

2.9 You must not engage in fraud, collusion, cheating, game manipulation, or any unlawful activity in connection with your use of the Platform. Funds used for gambling must not derive from illegal sources. You may not sell, transfer, or acquire player accounts. Where we suspect any such activity, we reserve the right to cancel bonuses, forfeit winnings, suspend or close your account, and report the matter to relevant authorities.

2.10 The use of VPN, proxy servers, TOR, or any other means to obscure or misrepresent your identity or geographic location when accessing the Platform is strictly prohibited. Where a player attempts to circumvent jurisdictional restrictions, including through the use of VPNs, false residency information, or misleading documentation, the Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account, void all associated winnings and bonuses, and report the matter to the relevant authorities. We reserve the right to forfeit winnings, cancel bonuses, and permanently close any account where such use is identified.

3. Your Account

3.1 To use the Platform, you must register an account. SwedBet offers two methods of registration. Players may register using available electronic identification and verification methods supported by the Platform, which automatically verify identity and pre-fill account details. Alternatively, players may register via phone-based SMS one-time password (OTP) authentication, in which case personal details including name and address must be entered manually. Both methods result in a fully registered account and are subject to the same terms. You must provide accurate information at registration and keep your login credentials secure at all times.

3.2 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.

3.3 You may hold only one account on the Platform at any time. Where we identify multiple accounts associated with the same individual, we reserve the right to close duplicate accounts, consolidate any remaining balances at our discretion, and forfeit any winnings or bonuses generated through duplicate accounts. Where duplicates were created to exploit promotional offers, we may cancel associated transactions and close the account permanently.

3.4 We may at any time, in fulfilment of our legal and regulatory obligations, request additional information or documentation from you. This may include proof of identity, proof of address, date of birth, source of funds, or source of wealth. We may also obtain information about you from publicly available sources. Failure to provide requested documentation within a reasonable time may result in restriction or closure of your account and, where applicable, reporting to the relevant regulatory body. We may be restricted by law from disclosing that such a report has been made.

4. Deposits and Withdrawals

4.1 All deposits and withdrawals are processed via the payment methods available on the Platform. You may only use payment methods registered in your own name. The use of third-party payment methods is not permitted. All withdrawals will be made to the same method used for the corresponding deposit, where technically feasible. Where this is not possible, we will designate an alternative method.

4.2 We may impose minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal limits as displayed on the Platform from time to time. These limits may be adjusted without prior notice.

4.3 Deposits made to your account are intended to be used for gameplay. Where we identify that a deposit has not been used for an appropriate level of play and a withdrawal is subsequently requested, we reserve the right to cancel the deposit in whole or in part and to recover any associated costs.

4.4 Withdrawals will be reviewed and processed within the timeframes set out in our Payment of Winnings Policy. Processing may be delayed where we are required to carry out additional identity or compliance checks. Where a delay occurs, we will inform you of the reason to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4.5 Where we credit your account in error, whether due to a technical fault, human error, or otherwise, the incorrectly credited amount remains the property of the Company and will be reclaimed from your account. If you have withdrawn funds that were credited in error, you are obliged to repay them to us on demand.

4.6 All gaming services on the Platform are consumed in real time during gameplay. We do not offer refunds, returns, or cancellations in respect of funds wagered. Refund requests based on losses or dissatisfaction with game outcomes will not be considered.

4.7 We reserve the right to conduct security and compliance checks at any time. During such checks, we may request documentation including government-issued identity documents, proof of address, bank statements, or source of funds evidence. Accounts may be suspended pending the outcome of such checks.

4.8 We reserve the right to process deposits and withdrawals through authorised commercial agents acting on our behalf.

4.9 We reserve the right to terminate an account, restrict access, and retain funds where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity. This includes but is not limited to: the use of stolen or unauthorised payment methods; submission of false or misappropriated documentation; bonus abuse or multi-accounting; collusion or use of automated systems; money laundering or facilitation of suspicious financial activity; and the initiation of chargebacks after gameplay has been completed.

5. Bonuses and Promotions

5.1 Bonus funds and promotional offers are subject to these Terms and any additional terms communicated to you at the time the offer is made. Where specific bonus terms exist, they take precedence over the general provisions of this section.

5.2 Bonus funds that have not been used within 30 days of being awarded may be removed from your account without notice. Individual campaigns may specify shorter expiry periods.

5.3 Bonus funds are subject to wagering requirements before they may be withdrawn, unless the specific bonus offer expressly states that no wagering requirement applies. The applicable wagering requirement, or confirmation that none applies, will be communicated to you at the time the bonus is offered. If you request a withdrawal before wagering requirements are met, all bonus funds and any winnings generated from those bonus funds will be deducted prior to processing the withdrawal.

5.4 The contribution of games toward wagering requirements is as follows: Slot machines contribute a maximum of 100%, with the following exceptions which contribute 0%: Blood Suckers, The Wish Master, Dead or Alive, and the following Spribe titles: Mines, Plinko, Keno, Hilo, Dice, Goal, Mini Roulette, and Aviator, and the following Hacksaw Gaming titles: Coins, Boxes and Mines. Blackjack (including Pontoon and Double Exposure) contributes a maximum of 10%. Roulette (all variants) contributes a maximum of 5%. Baccarat (all variants) contributes 5%. 100 Bit Dice contributes 0%. Video Poker contributes a maximum of 30%. Punto Banco contributes 5%. Oasis Poker contributes a maximum of 10%. TXS Hold'em Poker contributes a maximum of 10%. Casino Hold'em contributes 10%. All other Live Casino games contribute 10%. All other games not listed above contribute a maximum of 100%. Any player found to be abusing bonus funds on slot games with a progression mechanism may have their winnings forfeited and their account closed. The Company reserves the right to adjust game contribution rates and will notify players of any changes.

5.5 During gameplay, real money funds are used before bonus funds. Bets placed using real money generate real money winnings. Bets placed using bonus funds, or a combination of real and bonus funds, generate bonus money winnings. Wagering requirements are reduced only by the bonus portion of any bet. The maximum bet containing bonus funds is €5; winnings attributable to bets exceeding this limit may be voided.

5.6 Bonuses and promotional offers are available once per player, household, IP address, device, and payment method. We reserve the right to close accounts and forfeit funds where bonus abuse or fraud is identified.

5.7 Game rounds initiated with bonus funds must be completed while the bonus remains active. Delaying completion of game rounds or game features until after wagering requirements are satisfied, or until new funds are deposited, is prohibited. Where such activity is identified, the bonus and any associated winnings may be voided.

5.8 Winnings generated from free bonuses (bonuses issued without a deposit requirement) may be withdrawn up to a maximum of €100. Any winnings exceeding this cap will be removed from the account. A minimum deposit and a bet equal to the deposit amount are required before free bonus winnings may be withdrawn.

5.9 Any player found to be abusing bonus conditions, including through strategies designed to exploit wagering mechanics, may have their winnings forfeited and their account closed.

6. Paused and Inactive Accounts

6.1 An account is considered paused where it has not been accessed for a continuous period of three months and holds a positive real-money balance.

6.2 An account is considered inactive where it has not been accessed for a continuous period of twelve months and holds a positive real-money balance.

6.3 We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before applying any dormancy measures. Where a paused account remains unresponsive, an administrative fee may be applied to the balance at a rate of up to 10% per month. Where an account becomes inactive, remaining real-money and bonus balances may be removed. You retain the right to reclaim any remaining balance by contacting us and completing identity verification at any time.

7. Responsible Gambling

7.1 We are committed to promoting responsible gambling. Players may set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits through their account settings. Limits take effect immediately upon being set. Decreases to existing limits take effect immediately. Increases to existing limits are subject to a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before taking effect.

7.2 Players may request self-exclusion from the Platform at any time by contacting our support team. Self-exclusion takes effect immediately upon confirmation. A player who has self-excluded will not be targeted by marketing communications during the exclusion period. Requests to reinstate a self-excluded account are subject to a cooling-off period and a review by our compliance team. We reserve the right to decline reinstatement requests at our sole discretion.

7.3 Self-exclusion applies to the SwedBet platform only and does not extend to other operators or platforms.

7.4 Where we identify indicators of problem gambling, we may proactively contact you, apply account restrictions, or escalate the matter internally. Our responsible gambling measures are described in full in the Social Responsibility Policy, available on the Platform.

8. Privacy

8.1 Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is available at swedbet.com. By registering and using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with it.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All intellectual property rights in the SwedBet platform, including its trademarks, logos, software, technology, content, and structure, are owned by or licensed to the Company. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in or to the Platform’s intellectual property. Unauthorised use of any intellectual property associated with the Platform may result in legal action.

9.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, store, or otherwise use any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.

10. Cancellation of Bets and Balance Adjustments

10.1 We reserve the right to cancel and refund bets where required by technical problems or circumstances beyond our control, including game malfunctions or errors in game interoperability. Any bets placed during a malfunction are void. Winnings generated from a malfunctioning game are void, as are any subsequent game rounds played with such funds, regardless of which games are used.

10.2 Account balances may be adjusted where necessary, including where a bonus campaign has been misconfigured or where a game malfunction has resulted in an incorrect credit.

11. Complaints

11.1 If you have a complaint regarding our services, please contact our customer support team in the first instance at support@swedbet.com or via the live chat facility on the Platform. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to provide a substantive response within 10 business days.

11.2 Where a complaint requires further investigation, we will notify you within the initial 10-day period and provide an estimated timeframe for resolution. You will be kept informed of the progress and outcome of your complaint, subject to any legal restrictions on disclosure.

11.3 If you are not satisfied with the outcome of our internal complaints process, you may escalate the matter to the Tobique Gaming Commission or to CADRE – the Curacao Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity for Online Gambling, our appointed ADR provider, at https://cadre.online/.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Access to and use of the Platform is at your sole risk. The Platform, its games, and all related systems are provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

12.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its directors, employees, agents, and service providers shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special, consequential, or incidental, arising from your use of the Platform or participation in its games. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of funds through gameplay, interruption of service, or any reliance placed on the availability or accuracy of the Platform.

12.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and service providers from and against any claims, losses, damages, costs, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination and Account Closure

13.1 You may close your account at any time by contacting our customer support team. Where your request for closure is related to a gambling problem, please indicate this clearly so that we may apply appropriate safeguards. Any remaining cash balance will be returned to a payment method in your name following identity verification and subject to applicable withdrawal fees.

13.2 We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Circumstances in which we may take such action include but are not limited to:

Breach of these Terms or reasonable suspicion of such breach.

Involvement in or reasonable suspicion of fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity, including money laundering, collusion, or bonus abuse.

Signs of problem gambling or circumstances where continued use may be harmful to your wellbeing.

Financial difficulties or account activity that poses a regulatory, reputational, or financial risk to the Company.

Creation of multiple accounts, provision of false information, or use of misappropriated payment methods or documentation.

13.3 Where the remaining balance on your account at the time of closure is less than €10, the balance may be retained as an account administration fee rather than processed as a withdrawal.

14. Severability

14.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Assignment

15.1 We reserve the right to assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party at any time. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

16. Entire Agreement

16.1 These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Payment of Winnings Policy, Social Responsibility Policy, and any applicable bonus terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company in respect of your use of the SwedBet platform and supersede all prior representations, agreements, or understandings.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

17.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Costa Rica, without prejudice to our right to seek relief in any other competent court.

17.2 The Company operates under a licence issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission. Players who are not satisfied with the resolution of a dispute through the Company’s internal complaints process may refer the matter to the Tobique Gaming Commission in accordance with the procedures published by the Commission. In addition, the Company has appointed CADRE – the Curacao Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity for Online Gambling – as its independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. Players may submit a dispute to CADRE at https://cadre.online/ where the internal complaints process has been exhausted.
